With our Family Conference being held at Camp CAMP, there are a few rules that must be followed by all:

1. This a nut free camp – so no food containing nuts can be brought onto the property.

2. This is a smoke free camp.

3. This is an alcohol free camp

Note: You are welcome to bring any special foods or drinks for you or your family members to enjoy, but it must be kept in your cabin or turned over to the Nurses’ Lodge.

Dorm Style Accommodations: Camp CAMP is a lovely campsite that offers Dorm style sleeping accommodations. Please be prepared to share these air conditioned cabins with others.  If you choose to stay elsewhere it is at your own expense. 

Rooms, meals and childcare are furnished onsite for registered attendees. Families are encouraged to opt for the 24-hour respite care available.  If you choose to keep your children with you that is fine, but please remember you will be in a cabin with others as well.

If your child/family member is a client of HHSC Blind Children’s Program or Texas Workforce Commision (TWC), please contact the Case Manager about assistance for travel assistance for travel expenses.
